Your Story

Your story is the one we want to hear. It’s the one God’s given you, it can’t be argued with and nothing you can share is more powerful than what you and He have done together.

Sharing our God given talents, our supernaturally endowed qualities and His divine love are the best gifts we can give.

I used this term yesterday and have since heard some great things on the concept. Our culture tends to encourage that which comes easy. We elevate the “naturally talented” and bring the student that gets it easily, to the front of the class. Other cultures elevate those that overcome, encouraging the battle we must wage in order to accomplish that which doesn’t come naturally. What might God have for you to overcome?

What has God given that you could be sharing? What ability, art, skill, wisdom, experience or talent could the rest of us benefit from? We all need each other so very much. We are at our best together not when we’re keeping what we’ve been blessed with for ourselves. Don’t let fear or insecurity squash the wonder He’s given you to share.

“…The Lord our God is One”. There is no one like God, He is completely unique and like Him we are too. There is no one like you. You were created to reflect God in a way that can’t be fulfilled by anyone else. The coolest thing about your uniqueness is that it assures you of a one of a kind relationship with God. That’s why it’s so important for you to share yourself, your gifts, your talents and your insights.
