We needn’t be defined by the tragedy that befalls us, we must grow through it.
“Said don’t look back you can never look back. I thought I knew what love was, what did I know? Those days are gone forever, I should just let them go but-” We don’t have to fall into the same old traps, habits and patterns that we fell into yesterday. This is a brand new day filled with the opportunity to receive and then give away the perfect love of our God. The choice is ours, let’s not keep making the wrong one(s).
Scripture says, “For as the earth brings forth its bud, As the garden causes the things that are sown in it to spring forth, So the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.” It’s so wonderful to see everything springing back to life this time of year. And like the freshness of spring we each have an opportunity to start new, to be what is bright and different in this world. We don’t have to settle for the way it’s been. It’s a new day.
