You’re an Honest to God Miracle!

I recently heard that the chances of you existing are one in 400 trillion. Statistics being what they are I had to look into it and sure enough there’s some pretty good data that backs this up. I also came across a formula that had the odds at one in 700 trillion and another that put the likelihood at 1 in 10 to the 2,685,000^th power. Just for comparison, scientists approximate the number of atoms known to exist at 10 to the 80^th power. You are a miracle!

If you’re reading this it means you’ve won the Mega Bagillions Lottery! The only question now is how are you going to spend it? Seriously, what are you settling for because you’re not aware of how amazing you are? What insecurities do you live with because you can’t catch a break? What small change could you make today in the light of knowing how astonishing you are that will not only change your life but also those with the honor of interacting with you?

Assured

CSN sang of helplessly hoping from the empty place inside, but there’s an assured hope guaranteed by the One that can fill the empty place and it’s more than available to everyone. If you feel empty, unloved or rejected there is an answer and if you’ll put the tiniest bit of trust in Jesus he’ll rush to that emptiness and love you like no one else can. He’ll begin to heal your pain and walk through everything with you; you’ll never have to be alone again.

Directions

Be secure in who you are, sure of how much you are loved and confident in your future. Set aside whatever your insecurities look like, while thinking less about you. Don’t be easily offended and think highly of others. Repeat vigorously.

Confirmed

I hope the fact that you are amazingly loved was completely confirmed for you today. If not, don’t believe the lie no matter how much evidence piles up.

I Love You

Good morning sweet Lord. I don’t know what today may bring but You do. I don’t know if I’m going to be able to handle everything that comes my way but You can. There’s going to be times I doubt whether I’m loved today but your love for me will be constant. Together can we please make a difference in someone’s life today? I love You so much.

Surprises

Today is going to have its unexpected turns. You’ll be faced with fear, doubt and the desire to take matters into your own hands. There will be evidence that says you’re unloved, disrespected and unwanted. Fear not, at each of these turns you have the opportunity to give them to The Lord and the chance to trust that they’re better dealt with by Him. You see, nothing takes God by surprise so what could be better than to walk through this day completely with and in Him?

Don’t Believe

Don’t believe the lies that will come at you today. No matter how overwhelming the evidence may be, you are perfectly and uniquely loved. The less you entertain the lie the less hold it will have. Be secure in who God made you and how much He loves you.

And we all need it

We all greatly need to be loved. This is the supreme driving force in our lives, put there by God so that we would seek Him as He is the only one capable of supplying this kind of love. Too often we look for it in other places only to be hurt or disappointed. Then, empty and in need we wound those around us.

Power

The way you breakup a logjam is with dynamite. The word dynamite comes from the same word the Bible uses to describe God’s power. The fear of not being loved can only be overcome through intimacy with The One who made us. His power alone breaks through all the perceived proof that we are unloved and frees us.

Logjam

We all just want to be loved, but too often we’re so afraid we won’t be or can’t be that we keep those around us at a distance. Rather than giving the love that everyone needs we wait to get some for ourselves creating a logjam.
