Your story is the one we want to hear. It’s the one God’s given you, it can’t be argued with and nothing you can share is more powerful than what you and He have done together.

The excitement that’s a result of trusting God can’t be topped. Grasping the reality that we don’t know what tomorrow brings and finding exhilaration instead of worry is an incredible gift. Let’s do this day Lord!

Effort

This day may take extra effort. God’s providing all you need to not only make it through but to thrive. Don’t go it alone.

The finest gifts we bring are sacrificial.

Sharing our God given talents, our supernaturally endowed qualities and His divine love are the best gifts we can give.

What has God given that you could be sharing? What ability, art, skill, wisdom, experience or talent could the rest of us benefit from? We all need each other so very much. We are at our best together not when we’re keeping what we’ve been blessed with for ourselves. Don’t let fear or insecurity squash the wonder He’s given you to share.

What a big beautiful world we’ve been given! We should experience as much of it as we can instead of settling in, getting comfortable and living lives we can easily control. Where’s the faith in that?

“That’s the way the chemistry of God’s love and our creativity work together when combined. No reservoir can hold it, no disappointment can stop it, and no impediment can contain it. It can’t be waved off, put off or shut down. It doesn’t take no for an answer. Instead it assumes yes is the answer even when it sounds an awful lot like a no to everyone else.” – Bob Goff, Love Does

Scripture tells us that when we show compassion to those around us that are in need or are hurting it’s as if we cared for Jesus Himself. Today will be filled with opportunities for us to love the Lord through the kindness we pour out on others. Let’s be generous, empathetic and patient. Nothing speaks louder than when people see us put aside our needs, wants and agendas to focus on theirs.

Nothing says I care for you better than time. Words certainly can be encouraging, gifts can show you’ve been thinking about someone but who or what you really love will be where your time is given. Time is undoubtedly a most precious commodity and it’s easy to see how those who are unsure would be stingy with it. But for those in an intimate relationship with God, time is in abundance. We have forever. So who shall we share ourselves with today? Who comes to mind that could really use a call or a visit? Who near to us do we assume knows how much we care? We’ve been given so much, let’s give some back.
