Your Pursuit of Him

I am amazed on a daily basis at the way so many of you seek God with all of your hearts. This pursuit of yours speaks volumes to the world around you. It’s not normal. Most of the world ignores His existence altogether while much of the Christian world, wants just enough of Him to squeeze into heaven but not have their lives disrupted too much. Your fervent quest for more of God is truly astounding. There is always more of Him to be discovered and you will not be disappointed as you come to know Him more deeply. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for how your relationship with Him encourages me.

In the Beginning

God loved you. There’s never been a moment since when that’s untrue. No matter how well we might know His love there’s even more to be known. Today is an opportunity to realize His special affection for you in a new and deeper way. Let Him show you.

I Love You

One thing you can be sure God is always saying is that He loves you. There is nothing more consistent than His love for you. There is nothing deeper than His love for you. And He has no higher purpose than loving you. Too often you think of yourself as a tiny cog in the grand scheme of God’s mysterious plan. Loving you is God’s plan. It has been from the very start. You were not an after thought on day six. You were the reason for everything He created on days one through five.

How real is God?

Over the next several days let’s take a look at some of the varying degrees we allow God into our lives. Everyone has a perception of God and that view affects us immensely. I know God’s desire is for our understanding of Him to increase no matter what we believe today and that He wants this understanding to grow into knowing Him on a very personal basis. It’s possible for our connection with Him to be the deepest and most honest relationship we could possibly know. So let’s see where we are with God as well as where others may have Him so we can draw closer while helping those around us get nearer too.

This Year

This is going to be a phenomenal year. I am so looking forward to seeing what God is going to do in and through each of you. I pray that you will know Him deeper and more intimately than ever and that as you get closer and closer to Him you will experience His love like never before and witness His power as you impact the lives around you.
