When God Moves

God’s always moving, always at work but much of the time we don’t get to see it. It’s best that way. On those occasions when it’s clearly Him there’s nothing better, especially when He uses you to touch someone’s heart. One sure way to have your view obstructed again is to start to think you’re all that. Special and unique, which you are, is not the same as better.

Today is going to have its unexpected turns. You’ll be faced with fear, doubt and the desire to take matters into your own hands. There will be evidence that says you’re unloved, disrespected and unwanted. Fear not, at each of these turns you have the opportunity to give them to The Lord and the chance to trust that they’re better dealt with by Him. You see, nothing takes God by surprise so what could be better than to walk through this day completely with and in Him?

I know that a number of you have been going through some pretty rough times lately. You’re in the middle of something you never thought you would have to face and it’s scary. It is going to get better, hang in and don’t give up. Be sure you don’t try to go it alone, lean in close to the Lord and find someone to help you. Things may not work out exactly as you want them to but you’ve been promised that there will be a day when you’ll look back and understand how you and those around you are better. God loves you so very much. You’re in my prayers.

It is so comforting to look back on the day and be able to see how God put it all together. How He somehow managed to keep my best interest in mind without once forsaking what was best for those around me. How He made it all work to the betterment of each of us. How could I not trust Him even more with tomorrow?
