What has God given that you could be sharing? What ability, art, skill, wisdom, experience or talent could the rest of us benefit from? We all need each other so very much. We are at our best together not when we’re keeping what we’ve been blessed with for ourselves. Don’t let fear or insecurity squash the wonder He’s given you to share.

Lord give me the courage to recognize my flaws and the wisdom to know that your love for me is not in spite of them but includes them. Give me the heart to understand the shortcomings of others and the ability to love them like you do. Use me to share your love with those I see today and help stand as proof against the evidence that they are unloved.

We all come to the Lord and move closer to Him through fire. It’s the difficult circumstances and seasons we find ourselves in that help us see how much we need Him. It’s also in these times that His ability to see us through is most evident. If we could handle everything on our own, our relationship and understanding of Him would be superficial at best. So when you are in the middle or better yet at the beginning of an overwhelming situation and it feels like it’s just too much for you, it probably is. But peace, comfort and relief can be found in knowing that there is nothing that’s too much for you and God together.

There will always be people around that take advantage of others in order to get what they want or what they think they need. This demonstrates a lack of trust in God to carry out His promises. They believe that in order accomplish their wishes they have to do it themselves, usually at the expense of those around them.

When we are trusting and experiencing God’s infinite love for us, there is no way we can keep it all for ourselves. The very nature of love is giving. His love is realized through intimacy with Him and one of the results of that intimacy is the ability to know when, how, and with who we are to share. Like we said yesterday, there is nothing more exciting.

or as the Bible also calls it; renewing your mind, is the ability to recognize the lie and the evidence that seems to be saying you are unloved for what it really is – A LIE! We have to allow God’s perfect love for us to hold its rightful place as truth in our minds and in our hearts and not act out as those who are not loved, trying so hard to get what we already have.
