What does God want from us?

Finding Fault

People seem more and more critical with each passing day. Our opinions count like never before. We get to choose the next singing star, let the world know our current thought or activity and give reviews on everything from vacation destinations to potato peelers. One unfortunate result of this is that we are looking for what is wrong with everything. Finding the weaknesses in things or people is way too easy. Nothing is perfect, everything has faults. I want to try the more difficult task of finding the strengths in people, seeing the good that’s there and letting that be known.

I think it’s possible…

I think it’s possible to be so secure in who we are, so sure of how much we are loved and so confident in our future that we could lay down all of our insecurities. We would think much less about ourselves, not be offended easily and think more highly of others. That’s who I want to be. Do you think that’s possible?

If I could tell you just one thing…

I would tell you that God is real, He is alive and well and He loves you more than you can possibly know. He is patiently waiting for you ask Him to show Himself so that He can prove His love to you. God wants the very best for you and He is completely worthy of your trust. This I know is a fact and you can know it too!
